Monthly Hike: Insect Safari with Blake Newton (all ages)
Put on your safari hat and join entomologist Blake Newton for a morning hike in search of insects! Beetles, bees, or butterflies. Who knows what you might find? Hike begins at the Visitor Center and lasts 60-90 minutes.

Colors from Nature: Introduction to Natural Dyeing
Instructor: Roberta Burnes, Arboretum Education Coordinator Learn how to capture a rainbow of color from plants. We-ll explore the gardens in search of dye plants and then create several dye baths to color wool yarn. You-ll go home with samples of several different colors of yarn. Please pre-register.
