Individuals and groups may register to decorate one of The Arboretum's trees using nature-friendly materials. Prizes will be awarded in several categories during our Holiday Open House on December 2.

Join us for a festive, family celebration! Enjoy holiday music, storytelling, crafts, refreshments, and nighttime tours of the winter garden alight with luminaries.

Create a "Kissing Ball"
Instructor: Patsy Anderson
Learn how to make a lovely, Victorian-style holiday decoration using dried and silk flowers, evergreen foliage, and ribbons.
Please bring a glue gun, if available.

Lunchtime Walk & Talk
Exercise your body and your brain! Enjoy a different hike of The Arboretum every 2nd Wednesday at noon.

Holiday Nature Crafts (Ages 6-up)

Parents, enjoy a morning off while your kids get creative with nature-themed art projects at The Arboretum. We'll make pomanders, garlands, gift wrap, and other delights just in time for the holidays. Cost includes materials and snack.

Herbal Holiday Gifts (Ages 8-up)

Spend the morning crafting with herbs and essential oils. You'll make fragrant rose-geranium hand cream, calendula lip balm, and an assortment of herbal teas perfect for gift-giving. Cost includes materials and snack.
