Planning Your Fall Vegetable Garden (Adults) Instructor: Jamie Dockery, Fayette Co. Extension Horticulturalist
Now's the time to begin preparing for fall vegetable crops. Jamie Dockery will discuss what and when to plant, and which vegetables do especially well during the cooler months of autumn. Please pre-register. Cost: $5 (Friends $4)

Children's Garden Time (all ages)
There's always something to see and do in the garden! Come play in the dirt and help bring our Children's Garden to life. In case of rain, we'll meet in the Visitor Center for garden-related activities and stories. Cost: $1

Arboretum Woods Restoration Workday
You can make a difference by joining us in our on-going efforts to remove invasive plants from The Arboretum Woods. Follow the signs and meet at the entrance to The Arboretum Woods at 9 a.m. Bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes.

Lunchtime Walk & Talk (Adults)
Exercise your body and your brain! Enjoy a different tour of The Arboretum each month on the second Wednesday at noon. Tour lasts 45 minutes and begins at the Visitor Center. Cost $1

Monthly Hike: The Arboretum Woods (Ages 12-Adult)
Come explore the beautiful Arboretum Woods in search of butterflies, birds, and giant trees. Find out what's being done to restore this special place. Cost: $1

Jr. Wildlife Gardener Day Camp (Ages 8-11)
Learn how to make your back yard a habitat for wildlife! Part of the Jr. Master Gardener Series, this program focuses on earth-friendly gardening practices that benefit native plants and animals. Please pre-register. Cost: $35
