From Louisville and the
West:
•
East on Interstate 64 to first Lexington exit (#115- marked Rt. 922/Airport).
•
South on 922 (Newtown Pike) for 3.3 miles until it meets Main St.
•
Turn left onto Main St. and proceed through downtown. Street will veer to the
right at Civic Center and name will change to Vine St.
•
Turn right at the 6th traffic light onto Rose St.
•
Proceed to the 3rd traffic light (Avenue of Champions/Euclid).
•
Museum is on the far right corner of the intersection
From Richmond and the South:
• North on Interstate 75 to first
Lexington exit (#104).
•
West on Route 418 for approximately 8 miles to downtown Lexington.
•
2.7 miles after passing under New Circle Road (Circle 4), turn left onto Rose
St.
•
Proceed to the 4th traffic light (Avenue of Champions/Euclid).
•
Museum is on the far right corner of the intersection
From Nicholasville:
• North on US 27 (Nicholasville
Rd.).
• At the corner of Cooper Dr. Nicholasville
Rd. becomes Limestone Ave.
• Turn right at Avenue of Champions
(Euclid Ave.)
• Proceed to second light (Rose
St.) The Singletary Center is on your right.
From Cincinnati and the
North:
•
South on Interstate 75 to first Lexington exit (#115- marked Rt. 922/Airport).
•

From Winchester and the
East:
•
West on Interstate 64 to Interstate 75.
•
South on 75 to first Lexington exit (#110 -marked US 60).
•
West on US 60 for 4 miles. Street will veer to the left and become Midland Ave.
•
Continue on Midland to Main St.
•
Right on Main St. to the first traffic light (Rose St.).
•
Left on Rose St. to the 4th traffic light (Avenue of Champions/Euclid).
•
Museum is on the far right corner of the intersection
From Frankfort and Versailles:
•
East on US 60 (Versailles Rd.).
•
3.1 miles after passing under New Circle Rd., US 60 will branch to the right
and become Maxwell St.
•
Follow Maxwell St. to the 5th traffic light (Rose St.)
•
Turn right on Rose St. and proceed to the next traffic light (Avenue of Champions/Euclid).
•
Museum is on the far right corner of the intersection
For buses, turn left at the corner of Rose and Euclid. The Bus Stop is on the left directly in front of Memorial Coliseum.
To reach the loading dock, go through the light at Rose and Euclid and turn right at the first street past the museum building (Patterson Dr.). On the right is a parking lot with the loading dock marked ART MUSEUM at the far end.
