Events for Educators
Educators are our colleagues
in art and museum education. We plan events to introduce exhibitions and collections,
and to suggest lessons and activities that bring art to life for our visitors.

Workshops
Educators
workshops take place on Saturdays and focus on a specific exhibition, collection
area or Core Content area. Speakers engage educators in talks about the chosen
topic and provide curriculum resource materials to take back to the classroom.
At the conclusion of each workshop, teachers receive a certificate indicating
their participation and professional development hours earned.

Indian buffet lunch is available for $10
This educator's event will explore images and ideas about Indian history and
culture, and includes art making and performance. Hands-on activities will
show teachers from all disciplines and grade levels how to incorporate Indian
art and culture into their curriculum.
