Please note: This is not a lecture course; it is computer-assisted and largely self-paced.
Plan to attend ONE of the organizational meetings: Thursday June 5 or Friday June 6 from 6:00-7:30PM in Classroom Building 106. CLA 131-020 is a computer learning course and ALL students MUST attend ONE of the organizational sessions to learn how to operate the course.
You must have the following textbook: Bruce Wingerd, Unlocking Medical Terminology, Pearson Prentice Hall 2005 (ISBN: 0130488402). You can do your practice exercises on-line at the following site: http://www.prenhall.com/wingerd
(Note: You are not required to log in at their web site, or record your scores on the practice exercises, or submit them to anyone. The exercises are purely for your own benefit as you study in preparation for the exams.)
