
Actually, we don't know if these are eggs or not. Dave is looking them over more carefully to find evidence that might tell us more. For example, might there be evidence for cell division and/or differentiation in these dark blobs? A tail or eye spots? For now, we are curious and looking into it a little more. Might these be the oldest amphibian eggs? Maybe someday we'll know. Thanks for sharing it with us, Dave.
