Ask A Geologist About Kentucky Geology!

Welcome!  This is the place to find answers and to ask questions about the geology of Kentucky.  Our cheerful, well-paid, over-time, professional, highly motivated staff will be happy to entertain your questions.

First, read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section to see if we've already touched on your topic of interest.  Second, if we haven't or you still want to know more, you can choose from two ways of getting your question to us:
1) Use the form below, or
2) Email us.  If you are particularly email savvy, feel welcome to attach an image file (jpg or gif) with a photo of the rock or scene or item in question.

Whichever way you choose, be sure that your name and email address comes with your question so that we can get back to you with an answer.  Or, you could choose to use the form and remain anonymous, I suppose, if there were some good reason for it.  You choose.  Let us hear from you soon!
