DSS Issue Analysis

Prepare an 8-12 page report analyzing a DSS-related issue or topic. You should select a topic of interest to you. The book's web site provides a starting point for identifying an issue as well as links to reference materials that can be useful in preparing your report. In preparing the report, take a capstone perspective by relating its content to what you have learned from studying the book and from prior exercises/presentations.

Your report should minimally:

1. Introduce and describe the topic you have chosen;
2. Identify and discuss from 2 to 5 important messages that it offers for those who study, develop, or use decision support systems;
3. Critique the current state-of-the-art for the selected topic (e.g., pros vs. cons, benefits, limitations, what still needs to be done).
4. Clearly identify sources used in preparing your report.
