Research Interests

My current research examines: (1) brain activity (via EEG) and functioning on tasks of inhibition and working memory among children with ADHD and typically developing children, (2) the effect of violence and maltreatment on development, (3) how to effectively teach the logic of the scientific method to 4th graders, and (4) therapists' use of Evidence-Based Practices in the treatment of clients that have experienced traumatic events. I am working with Elizabeth Lorch, Rich Milich, and John Curtis, and I am also associated with the Center for Research on Violence Against Children.
