What
Write a letter to your favorite Pam Muñoz Ryan character. Letter writers from ages 8 to 11 can win an autographed copy of the book you write about, and those from ages 12 to 18 can win a ticket for you and an adult to the McConnell Conference Banquet on Friday,
February 29, 2008. Four (4) winners from the 8-11 age group will be selected (one per book as listed on the entry form). Two (2) winners from the 12-18 age group will be selected.

Handwritten letters may be attached to the entry form, but to be accepted all letters must have the entrant's name and a parent's signature.
Entry
Requirements The Contest is open to all residents of Kentucky between the ages
of 8 and 18. A parent or guardian’s signature must be included on all entry
applications. Only one entry per person will be accepted. All letters must be
the original work of the entrant.
Submission
Deadline December 20, 2007 (Your letter must accompany the entry form.)
Winners will be notified by February 1, 2008.

The McConnell Center, the School of Library & Information Science or the University of Kentucky are not responsible for lost, undelivered, stolen or illegible entries, and are not liable for winners or their chaperones. Winners are responsible for their own transportation. All letters become the property of the McConnell Center and will not be returned. Winners will be asked to sign a waiver for the use of their letters.
