Sarah Ascienzo, MSW, LCSW


Sarah Ascienzo, MSW, LCSW, currently works as a research assistant and clinician at the Center on Trauma and Children.  She has over 14 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of roles, including work as a caseworker, forensic interviewer, and clinician. As a clinician, Ms. Ascienzo has worked in both community and school-based settings with children and adults adversely affected by trauma, as well as with children who have learning disabilities and/or Autism. Ms. Ascienzo completed her Master of Social Work degree from Colorado State University in 2005 and is currently a doctoral student in the College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky.
