Josh Barnett, MSSW, LCSW


Josh Barnett, MSSW, LCSW, is a clinician at the Center on Trauma and Children, providing in-depth assessments for at-risk families. Josh earned a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2011 and previously earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. As a clinical social worker, Josh has provided community based services with at-risk youth with the Impact Plus Program, provided intensive in-home services for families at risk of removal with the Family Preservation and Reunification Services program, and has provided therapeutic services to foster children in foster homes. In addition to working directly with individuals and families, Josh has worked as team leader in a Behavioral Health Program, as a program director of a Family Preservation and Reunification Program in Eastern Kentucky, and taught classes for the University of Kentucky College of Social Work.
