Rates and Schedules (July 2006 - March 2007)

Our flexible menu of schedules allows clients to customize their projects in a modular approach. For instance, one unit of Schedule 12 plus two units of Schedule 7 combine to make a “Cells-to-Sequences, Forward and Reverse Primers” type project. Or, if a client wished to have their bacterial library gridded, probed, cherry-picked for interesting clones, then had those interesting clones sequenced, that project would consist of Schedules 16, 21, and then 12+7 or 11+6 depending on the number of clones sequenced. *** Clients can request Schedule 5 sequencing reaction cleanups with Sigma Spin columns. We will charge 0.5 units of schedule 21 (which is approximately equal to the cost of each Sigma spin column) for every 1 unit of schedule 5.
**Non-University clients rates include a 10% surcharge that will be waived if you have a University of Kentucky collaborator.
*For schedules 6,7 and 9, the given rate will be charged if the reactions are setup using a SINGLE PRIMER through-out a 96 well plate. FOR EVERY EXTRA PRIMER USED, AN ADDITIONAL UNIT OF SCHEDULE 21 WILL BE CHARGED for the extra lab-technician time and robot usage time.
