Taiko Drumming

The Cincinnati/ Dayton Taiko Troupe performs traditional Japanese druming at the Lexington Farmers Market (10am), at Joseph Beth Booksellers (11am), and the Lexington Downtown Public Library (2pm)

Make it a family day at our Craft Fair with activities for both kids and grown-ups like calligraphy, origami, printing, traditional games and more.

Music of Asia: A Showcase of Asian Virtuosos

Take a musical tour through Asia with Japanese koto, Korean folk songs, Chinese strings (zheng, and erhu), a Vietnamese dan bao (one stringed instrument) and the dizi flute.

Japanese Tea Ceremony

Enjoy a "Nodate" (outdoor ceremony) on UK campus. Take a few minutes to take in the sights and sounds of Nature while partaking of the traditional "Matcha" (powdered green tea) and sweets.

Music of Asia: Friends from Near and Far

Lexington's own Javanese Gamelan and Chinese soloists take the stage with renowned musicians from Hong Kong- Shaolin on erhu and Bryan Lai on yangqin.
