Secretary Jackson furthers Kentucky's mission to become an employer-of-choice nationally
Nikki Jackson, Secretary of the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet, had the opportunity in November of 2009 to meet with President Obama's Director of Personnel Management to discuss best practices in transformational HR. As a result of this meeting, Kentucky is better positioned to be viewed as a state-of-choice and through Secretary Jackson’s efforts, Kentucky State Government and perhaps even Kentucky’s employers, will have an opportunity to partner with the federal government in “employer-of-choice-centric” initiatives. iwin's Meghan Purdy had the chance to speak with Secretary Jackson about her experience in Washington, D. C. and about what we can look forward to in the future. Read the full interview here.
