Mathcamp
Mathcamp is designed to maintain or to develop familiarity with the mathematical tolls used in the first-year PhD. theory and other courses. It constitutes the first part of AEC 590/ECO 590 and will be held before the semester starts.
About AEC 590:
AEC 590 is an introduction to mathematical approaches to economic theory. Emphasis on linear models, constrained optimization, and techniques used in comparative statics. Prereq: ECO 401 and MA 113, or consent of instructor. (Same as ECO 590.) (3 credit hours)
AEC 590 is a preprogram requirement fot the Ph.D. program.
