COMMENT     The complete coding sequence of myoglobin as well as the 3'- and
            part of the 5'-nontranslatable sequences were determined.  The
            amino acid sequence predicted from the nucleotide sequence is
            different from the reported amino acid sequence of myoglobin
            purified from the adult bovine cardiac muscle at eight locations.
            An expression system in Saccharomyces cerevisiae was established.
