 How the Internet Works

The presentation Lynn Dailey (sec 001) and I (sec002)did showed you how the internet works. The terminology that was used about networks, lines, protocols (software) are all relevant to the test. You can look up the terms she used in the glossary and read the short version about how the Internet works

 Other stuff

I guess I asumed that we would talk about URL addresses and LISTSERV in class - we didn't. Make sure that you take a look at both the files with the terms listed in the readings for January 21.
