Students

Currently, 238 undergraduate students major in Communication,
and there are 274 pre-majors.

The 2005 graduating class
consisted mostly of students from the Lexington area as well as other parts of Kentucky. Thirty-five percent of the class hailed from Lexington, with 54 percent from other parts of Kentucky and 18 percent from outside the state.

Faculty of the Department also teach most of the graduate courses leading to a Master's or Doctoral degree in Communication through the College Graduate Program in Communication.
