The Graduate Program in Communication at the University of Kentucky offers a learning environment where students are encouraged to generate and disseminate knowledge about communication as a core social practice. Our emphasis is on processes, effects and functions of communication across interpersonal, mediated and mass contexts. We promote the pursuit of individual scholarly interests through collaboration with faculty members and colleagues as we prepare students for careers in professional or academic research, teaching and service.
