School of Journalism & Telecommunications

The School of Journalism and Telecommunications is a professionally-oriented undergraduate program within the College of Communications and Information Studies at the University of Kentucky. Working closely with media firms and the local community, the School strives to maintain the high academic standards of its accrediting body, the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications, while providing students with professional skills.

Three undergraduate majors are offered at the School:

• Integrated Strategic Communication
• Journalism
• Telecommunication
