SLIS Annual BanquetAt the banquet, new members are inducted into Beta Phi Mu and the Melody Trosper Award is presented. LISSO, the Library and Information Science Student Organization, presents the LISSO Leadership Award. The Karen Cobb Memorial Lecture is also given at the annual banquet. Karen, a 1984 graduate of the School, died in 1988. The lecture is given by the recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus Award. The recipient of this year's award is Professor Dennis Carrigan.
