Introduction
UK is the only Kentucky university offering doctoral work in Communication. The program benefits from the involvement of each of the college’s units and currently ranks in the top 6 nationally in the area of health communication. This program offers special opportunities for students to apply communication theory and research in mass media and interpersonal communication. The College’s Media Center for the Future supports these efforts by providing state-of-the-art facilities for teaching, research and public service.
