Tom Gilmore is a real estate developer in Los Angeles. His successful efforts to transform historic buildings into residential properties have been credited with sparking "a tidal wave of housing developments" in downtown Los Angeles. Gilmore received the 2006 "City Rebuilder Award" from the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Donald J. Trump Award from the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors. Gilmore is also owner of Cicada Restaurant, and manager of Vibiana.
