Undergraduate Admissions

The College of Design offers a four year undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. This degree combines a broad liberal arts education with a foundation in the theory and practice of architecture.

Successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree is required in order to pursue the two year professional Master of Architecture degree (option 2).


Graduate Admissions

There are three options for graduate study within the School of Architecture:

Option 1: Master of Architecture Degree w/Advanced Standing
(min. 1 year, 30 credit hours)

Applicant must hold a 5-year undergraduate degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited architecture program.

Option 2: Master of Architecture Degree
(minimum 2 years, 57 credit hours)

Applicant must hold a four year non-professional architecture degree (BA, BS, or BED degree in Architecture).

Option 3: Master of Architecture Degree
(min. 3 years, 81 credit hours)

This track leads to a first-professional degree obtained at the graduate level. Upon successful completion of this degree, graduates are eligible to pursue registration as an architect. Applicants must hold a four year undergraduate degree.
