Projects

Vanishing Bluegrass: Exhibit April 2007 and April 2009, Kentucky Derby Museum; Catalogue of the Exhibit

The nomination of the Bluegrass Cultural Landscape to the World Monuments Fund Watch List has achieved numerous positive results, including heightened awareness locally and nationally of the region’s international significance. One project that has emerged from this designation is an exhibition devoted to the “Vanishing Bluegrass,” which is being designed and developed by the College of Design

Park Hill Study

Interests and input from the University of Kentucky College of Design, the University of Louisville Master of Urban Planning program, the Brownfield Institute facilitators, MDA's investigations of appropriate master planning process, Center For Neighborhoods involvement with UK and UL studio classes along with potential Neighborhood Assessments and/or Neighborhood Plan for California neighborhood and Metro Louisville DPDS's. Study looks at opportunities for urban development in brownfield sites in central Louisville.
