The goal of the Office of Student Services in the College of Design is to assist students in developing educational plans compatible with both their potential and their career and life goals.
Specialized knowledge of the College's programs allows the Student Services staff to help students understand the direction of their educational plans.
Faculty and professional advisors will confer with students about course schedules and educational opportunities, but students themselves are responsible from their academic program and for making progress toward an academic degree.
The Student Services staff help students meet changing needs; maintain up-to-date information on university requirements, academic policies, procedures, and deadlines; provide guidance for the exploring student; and facilitate the successful transition of prospective, continuing, and non-traditional students to the academic campus environment and to the College of Design.
