Application Guidelines

Applicants must accomplish three steps in order to be admitted into the College of Design's Bachelor of Arts in Architecture program.

Apply to the University of Kentucky by February 1.
Fill out the School of Architecture application form and pay the application fee.
Finish and submit the Selective Admissions Requirement

The method of selecting applicants for the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree begins with the standard application procedure for University admission. You must apply to the University by February 1.

Upon receipt of the School of Architecture application form and payment of the application fee the Selective Admissions Requirement application packet containing directions and required materials will be mailed to the applicant.

Note: Early submission of this application will provide more time for the applicant to thoughtfully complete the Selective Admissions Requirement.

The Selective Admissions Requirement is the primary means for being admitted into the School of Architecture. The final date for receipt of your Selective Admissions Requirement at Pence Hall is March 2, 2009.
