Goals

Students

Support for students through greatly increased endowments for scholarships and fellowships. UK must be competitive with other distinguished universities for top students who help make a great university.

Faculty

Support for faculty to increase endowed chairs and professorships to enable UK to be competitive with other top–20 public institutions across the country.

Academic Excellence

Support for academic programs that encourage innovative teaching to enhance learning, creativity and critical thinking, which are vital to the success of students here at UK and after they leave to compete in a global economy.

Library

Support for the University library to increase endowed book funds, to improve access to electronic products, and to increase book preservation and special collection projects. The University library serves as an important resource for the UK community and beyond.

Public Service

Support for public service is integral to UK’s mission as a land–grant institution. Public outreach at UK touches the lives of citizens throughout Kentucky and also impacts others across the nation.

Facilities

Support for the purchase of equipment and technology, and for construction and renovation of facilities, which are vital to our research and instruction initiatives.
