UK Office of Development Strategic Plan

Like the UK Strategic Plan, the Office of Development Strategic plan is designed as a blueprint for associates to follow as we support the University's vision of a top 20 research university. The activities and operations of the Development Office are focused on seven major goals, with supporting objectives designed to assist in the accomplishment of each. These goals include:

  • Enhance the university’s stature among its peers.
  • Support the education of students for leadership and a knowledge economy and global society.
  • Enhance the intellectual and economic capital of Kentucky through growth in research.
  • Encourage and nurture diversity.
  • Inspire Kentuckians and others to form partnerships to elevate the quality of life.
  • Create an environment of shared leadership among the university administration, colleges, and central development.
  • Improve communications and services between central development and the campus.
