The University of Kentucky invites corporations and foundations to explore partnerships with the University and become involved with our outstanding work. As Kentucky’s flagship institution, the University plays a critical leadership role by promoting diversity, inclusion, economic development and human well–being. The impact of the University’s cutting-edge work in a variety of disciplines reaches beyond campus, throughout the Commonwealth and around the world.
Although the University of Kentucky is a state institution, less than 10 percent of its annual funding is provided from state appropriations. Private support and partnerships play a critical role in enabling the University to fulfill its historic mission. Gifts and grants from corporations and foundations are vital to ensure that UK can prepare the next generation of students for success. Corporate and foundation support is also needed to enable the University of be an engine of innovation that continues generating new ideas and programs with far-reaching impact.
