Corporate and Foundation Relations Staff

As Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) at the University of Kentucky, Bleik Pickett provides leadership and management of the University’s CFR program. Bleik is responsible for driving strategy for corporate and foundation outreach and building productive partnerships with companies and foundations to maximize support for UK’s academic, research and public outreach programs. In this role, he engages companies and foundations in identifying partnership opportunities aligned with their strategic priorities. He also serves as a campus–wide resource on corporate and foundation relations. He has more than 15 years of experience developing corporate and foundation linkages for national and international organizations. Bleik earned a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. from the University of Kentucky’s Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce.

Jessica Koenigsknecht–Talboo is the Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Health Affairs. In this role, she leads the development of a robust corporate and foundation fundraising program focused on attracting major funding for priorities in health education, health promotion, health research, and health delivery models. Before coming to UK, Jessica served as Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations on the Medical Alumni and Development team at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to her career in development, Jessica worked as a postdoctoral research scholar at Washington University School of Medicine in a premier Alzheimer’s disease laboratory under the mentorship of Dr. David Holtzman. Jessica earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University and a B.S. in biology from Baldwin–Wallace College.

Kacie Miller is the Corporate and Foundation Relations Coordinator. She manages department operations including writing, communications, proposal development, research and stewardship. Kacie’s experience includes work in commercialization and economic development for UK as well as extensive marketing and communications work in higher education. A native Kentuckian, Kacie received an M.S. in higher education from the University of Kentucky and a B.A. from Western Kentucky University.
