After four years of construction and $58 million, the William T. Young Library opened its doors in 1998.
Today, it’s a symbol to all Kentuckians that academic excellence is our top priority and that we’re committed to becoming a Top 20 university.
A special 10th anniversary celebration will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 at the Young Library. Tours will be held from 4 p.m.—6 p.m., followed by a reception at 6 p.m., and a presentation at 7 p.m. with special guest speaker E. Gordon Gee, President of Ohio State University.
