The Butcher Shop

Enjoy free food at the grand reopening of The Butcher Shop at 1 pm on Friday, April 25, at the shop. The event will feature free samples of fresh meat and cheeses and items prepared on the Dining roaster.

Located in the basement of the Garrigus Building, the Butcher Shop enables everyone on the campus communtiy to purchase fresh KY Proud foods prepared through a partnership of UK Dining and the College of Agriculture, Food, and the Environment.

University of Kentucky Dining Services partners with local farmers and food producers to provide all of our campus restaurants with locally produced Kentucky Proud® products whenever possible.

Fresh apples, tomatoes, milk, vegetables, etc. can be found all over campus in our restaurants and convenience stores.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty & Staff: Receive $1 OFF a purchase of $5 or more with valid UK or BCTC Faculty/Staff ID or Medical Center ID at all of our campus restaurants and convenience stores.

Purchase must total $5 before taxes. Discout does not apply at franchise locations. Savings cannot be used with any other discount offers.
