Distance Learning Programs offers University of Kentucky students a broad selection of undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses, as well as several degree programs, throughout Kentucky and beyond. The same quality teaching and academic support services available on the main campus are also available through distance learning, via online learning, hybrid and interactive video.

Distance Learning is defined as a formal educational process in which the majority of the instruction (interaction between students and instructors and among students) in a course occurs when students and instructors are not in the same place. Instruction may be synchronous or asynchronous.
