Offering Educational Opportunities throughout the CommonwealthDistance Learning Programs offers UK students a broad selection of undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and other programs throughout Kentucky and beyond. The same quality teaching and academic support services available on the main Lexington campus can be found throughout the extended campus. Convenient locations for select programs and courses include regional universities, community colleges, independent colleges, businesses, public schools, libraries, and health care facilities. Distance Learning also offers courses on the Internet, a popular and flexible way to earn college credit. All students pay a $5/credit hour fee for all courses taken through Distance Learning. Nonresident students will be charged the lower resident tuition for online courses if they are not concurrently enrolled in any on-campus courses. In case of inclement weather please check your local TV stations for closings. If the county schools are closed, Distance Learning courses at those sites will be canceled.
