Office for Institutional Diversity works toward promoting collaboration among faculty, staff, administration and students in earnest pursuit of UK's diversity goals. The aim is to create and nurture a diverse, caring and inclusive environment for all students to achieve academic excellence. The Health Center Student Diversity office serves to facilitate the recruitment, retention and professional development of underrepresented students in the professional healthcare programs of Dentistry, Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health. Throughout the year, programs and activities are planned to promote and nurture diversity while providing guidance and academic support to our diverse student body. Our goal is to help students to welcome different points of view and belief systems while examining and refining their own.
