The University of Kentucky will continue to update the campus community as warranted based on changes to the situation.
University of Kentucky officials are closely monitoring the evolving Novel H1N1 outbreak. UK's Pandemic Planning Workgroup began meeting in April 2009, and we continue to work with local health agencies to receive the most current information. The safety of students, faculty, staff and patients remains our top priority and contingency plans will be implemented quickly if the situation worsens.
This website will be updated as needed with new information regarding Novel H1N1 and the University's plans. Please use the links in the left menu to learn more about how to protect yourself and what to do if you believe you have the virus. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy your time at UK and take full advantage of all that the campus has to offer.
The University Health Service will continue to offer its allotment of the H1N1 vaccine to students at UK by appointment only. Contact UHS at 257- APPT (2778) to schedule an appointment.
