SPUR

UPDATE: If you did not receive a Showcase registration confirmation email, we did not receive your abstract. We are still accepting late applications to accommodate technical difficulties.
Sunday, April 13th, 5:00pm is the absolute deadline to resubmit your Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars abstract! If we do not receive your abstract by then, you may still present at the Showcase, but your abstract won't be published in our annual abstract book.

The Society for the Promotion of Undergraduate Research is a Student Organization at the University of Kentucky that seeks to provide opportunities for undergraduates interested in research.

SPUR was created by students in the UK URP class in the spring of 2004. The aims of the group are

  • To direct undergraduates to the right research laboratory
  • To provide an array of academic resources to undergraduates
  • To hold colloqia for undergraduates currently involved in research
  • To organize and promote the Annual Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars

Please visit and register for the University of Kentucky Undergraduate Research Program (UKURP).

  • SPUR is a division of eUreKa (Experiences in Undergraduate Research & Kreative Activities).
