Project Description The main electrical service to Coldstream Research Campus is currently supplied by Kentucky Utilities through a combination of overhead supply and underground distribution systems. The main 12KV power supply is delivered by an overhead circuit from Kentucky Utilities' IBM station.Several existing and future projects require that Coldstream Research Campus have a redundant electrical power supply available. The immediate redundant power needs are for the first building in the Lexhold Technology Center (under construction), Exstream Software buildings (under construction), the LFUCG Emergency Operations Center (being designed) and the UK Data Center (in design). In order to successfully market the Coldstream Research Campus in the future, separate and redundant power feeds will be essential.
