The University of Kentucky offers financial aid to outstanding adult students and students enrolled nontraditionally who demonstrate the potential for superior academic performance. The scholarships below are administered by Adult Student Services and awards are made to currently enrolled UK students without regard to race, creed or religious preference.

Scholarships for Students Ages 25 and Over

UK Women's Forum Educational Assistance Awards - $250 each

Academic Excellence Scholarships - $1,000 paid over two semesters

UK Woman's Club Endowed Fellowship - $2,000 each

UK Woman's Club Scholarship - Full Tuition at Undergraduate Resident Rate

P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund - up to $9,000

Educational Loan Fund (ELF), established in 1907, makes loans available to qualified women who desire higher education and are in need of financial assistance. Student must be recommended by a local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and within two years of completing her course of study. The current maximum loan is $9,000 at 2 percent interest and due six years from the date of issue. Interest is billed annually with principal payments to begin after graduation from the program for which the loan was granted. For more information about the P.E.O.
