| May 28 , 2008 | Last day for doctoral candidates for an August degree to submit a Notification of Intent (PDF) to schedule a final examination in The Graduate School. |
| June 20, 2008 | Last day for filing an application for an August degree. Graduate Students apply in their department through their Director of Graduate Studies. |
| July 23, 2008 | Last day for candidates for an August degree to sit for a final examination in The Graduate School. |
| July 31, 2008 | Last day for candidates for an August degree to submit a thesis or dissertation to The Graduate School. |
| FALL 2008 | |
| September 25, 2008 | Last day for filing an application for December degree (PDF) in the Office o fthe Dean |
| October 9, 2008 | Last day for doctoral candidates for a December degree to submit a Notification of Intent (PDF) to schedule a final examination in The Graduate School. This form must be filed 60 days before you sit for you final examination. |
| November 20, 2008 | Last day to schedule a final examination for a December degree in The Graduate School. This request is due to The Graduate School at least 2 weeks before the date of the examination. |
| November 26-28, 2008 | Fall break (academic holiday) |
| December 4, 2008 | Last day for candidates for a December graduate degree to sit for a final examination. The date that you sit for your final examination must be 60 days after you file the Notification of Intent (PDF). |
| December 19, 2008 | Last day for December degree candidates for a December degree to submit a thesis or dissertation to The Graduate School. |

| February 26, 2009 | Last day for doctoral candidates for a May degree to submit a Notification of Intent (PDF) to schedule a final examination in The Graduate School. |
