Advancement Council | |
|
The Advancement Council is comprised of friends of the college who are interested in playing a more active role in supporting the educational mission, vision, needs and strategic plan of the College by advancing and strengthening relationships with alumni, parents, trustees, students, faculty, staff, and many others in and around the community. The Advancement Council will meet two times a year with the spring meeting held in April during Keeneland and the fall meeting held on September 29, 2006 in conjunction with Fellow's Weekend. Members are appointed to serve a two year term and responsibilities include participating in campaign functions, hosting events in their geographic region, and an ability to identify, cultivate and solicit others. The willingness to make a personal philanthropic commitment at the appropriate level will be expected to set an example for substantial giving. |
