As we move forward with the second phase of The Campaign for the University of Kentucky, I want to provide you with a brief summary of progress and an invitation to be more closely involved in this phase of the campign.

The goal for the Campaign is $15,200,000 and we have already raised over $9,000,000. The money raised has already made a difference in the life of the University and within the state because an investment in the College of Education is an investment in people. Education changes lives and we are excited about our success thus far and we are poised to achieve our campaign goals during the final phase of this campaign.

One of the most important predictors of success is the quality of people involved. My invitation to you is to become more deeply involved in the life of the College of Education. I hope you will consider attending an alumni event such as Homecoming, nominate someone who was "A Teacher who Made a Difference" in your life, hosting an event in your geographical area, and, of course, making a gift to the college in support of future generations of educators. Your love of the University of Kentucky and for the College of Education combined with your professional achievements and community involvements will provide us with a collective knowledge and support to achieve our goals.
