Degree programs in Counseling Psychology |

Master of Science in Education is for persons interested in working as a counselor in a variety of settings. About a sixth of the graduates of this program obtain employment in college career development centers and in college student personnel programs. Another sixth of the Master's graduates win admission to doctoral programs in counseling psychology. One third start their careers in Kentucky or in the nation with mental health agencies as respite care or program counselors and in industry as trainers and personnel managers. About a third of the program graduates gain admission to the Educational Specialist degree program. The program is described in the Master's Handbook. The program is full-time (minimum of nine credits per semester).
