UK College of Education EDP 557 Course Information

Gathering, Analyzing and Using Educational Data: This course covers applications of statistical and graphical methods for educational and evaluation data. Basic descriptive statistics, correlation, normal distributions and hypothesis testing will be covered. An emphasis is placed on exploratory data analysis and interpretation of results within the broad contexts of education and evaluation. Prerequisite: MA 109 or equivalent; undergraduate (with permission) or graduate status in the College of Education; or consent of the instructor. Typically two or three sections of EDP 557 are offered, with two sections scheduled in the day and one at night. This course is cross-listed as EPE 557. (See technology expectations)
