EDP 665 Syllabi | |
EDP 665 Post-Masters Practicum in Counseling Psychology Supervised experience in application of diagnostic and interviewing techniques in a counseling service. Prereq: A Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or equivalent, approval of departmental counseling committee and EDP 661.
EDP 665 is intended to support counseling psychology program goals: (1) Ethical decision-making and responsible professional behavior, (3) Interpersonal and cross-cultural sensitivity, (4) Psychological Assessment, (5) Individual, family, and group intervention, (6) Community Education and Prevention, and (7) Professional leadership and Responsibility.
Usually one or two sections of six students each are offered. The Practicum Coordinator, Professor Love, has worked with the Counseling Psychology Program faculty (Professors Love, Reese, Pamela Remer, Rory Remer, and Rostosky) to optimize the student placement and section assignment.
