* Consult your program handbook for more details Notes: A Notifiation of Intent must be submitted a minimum of eight weeks before a doctoral student plans to sit for the Doctoral Final Examination. All requests for the Final Examination (Masters and Doctoral) and the Qualifying Examination must be delivered to the Graduate School no less than two weeks before the date of the examination; if the exam form is late, it must be accompanied by a letter of explanation from the DGS. A Dissertation may not be submitted to the Outside Examiner until it is checked and approved by the Graduate School for format. This checking must be completed at least two weeks before the date of the Final Examination. The Dissertation, Final Exam Form, and Dissertation Approval Sheet must all be brought to the Graduate School at the same time at least two weeks before the date of the examination. The student or the student's representative must be present while the dissertation is being checked. Appointments can be made through the Graduate School by calling 859-257-4614.
