Master’s
of Science in Higher Education: College Student Affairs Professionals focus |

Rationale The changing student population in higher education has created new demands for persons employed as college student affairs professionals. In response, the Department of Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation (EPE) now offers a master’s degree option with emphasis in college student affairs. Graduates of the program will be prepared to work in a variety of professional positions in higher education institutions (e.g., residence life, student activities, recruitment and admissions, dean of students). Application Students may apply for admission to the master’s degree with focus on college student services policy and programming. Admission information may be obtained from the Director of Graduate Studies or from our web page (http://www.uky.edu/Education/EPE/epeappm.html Departmental application deadline should be noted. Course of Study Students enrolled in this program will complete a common core and a concentration that includes focused coursework, outside electives, a research course, a practicum/internship, and a capstone project/exam. |
